“Kirk holds a Bachelor of Science in Golf and Sports Turf Management from Mississippi State University. After graduation, he relocated to the Metro Atlanta area, dedicating himself to roles in golf course maintenance and landscape management. In 2004, Kirk founded Lawnsmith with the goal of building upon his academic and professional experiences.

In his personal life, Kirk is happily married to Mickie, and they have four children: Ty, Cole, Luke, and Haley. Beyond his professional endeavors, Kirk actively contributes to his community by previously serving as a deacon in his church, leading a large men’s ministry in town, and leads a ministry group that travels the country spreading the Gospel inside of men’s prisons. His commitment extends beyond his work, reflecting a holistic engagement with both professional and personal responsibilities.”
